4 in every 10 women across the globe suffer from PCOD Polycystic ovarian syndrome also known as PCOD polycystic ovarian desease/ disorder  although not many women know the name of this disorder. PCOS/ PCOD is hormonal imbalance and affects in various ways which varies from woman to woman. Let's check out some major reasons, symptoms and remedies for PCOD/PSOC.

Symptoms of PCOD/PCOS

1. Irregular menstrual periods delayed upto 3-6 months and varies. 
The blood colour would be dark red and brown, more delay darker the blood and chunky blood.

3. PCOS/PCOD worsens in some cases where zero protein was given or either stopped consuming protein all at once(in my case).


Remedies include lifestyle change and diet.

1. Choose to do what keeps you happy and lively 
2. Exercises like swimming help in losing weight also consume low glycemic index food like fruits, vegetables, eggs, fish, chicken, skimmed mlik and good fat like clarified butter, cheese.
3. Choose gluten-free food. Gluten is present in refined wheat also called maida. 
4. Make sure to track what you eat and how much you work out. 
5. I would suggest a high nutritional food to balance the hormone and gradually helps you lose weight. 
6. Regular check up with your doctor about PCOS/PCOD would help you track your progress.
7. Some birth control pills and diabetic drug helps regulate your insulin level. 
8. Recommended surgery for getting pregnant if fertility treatment does not work.
